The day when the Uzbek language received the status of the state language. Language is the first sign of a nation. The great Uzbek writer Abdullah Avloni said that “the mirror of the existence of every nation in the world is language and literature, to forget the native language is equal to losing national pride.” On October 21, an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the state language was organized in the Ferghana regional branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by students, teachers and mentors of the branch. The director of the branch, Shamsiddin Usmanov, congratulated everyone on the holiday and expressed his opinion on the role of language in our speech, especially for artists and singers in art. Then, students of the branch performed performances, poems, gazelles, praises of the Uzbek language and dances from Uzbek folk songs. The event was a great event for everyone.
