Pursuant to Decree of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 12, 2019 No. 2730-33 “On Further Improving the Legislation in the Sphere of Information Distribution” and order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 23, 2019 No. 853, the press secretary of the branch Ilkhomzhon Khasanov interviewed students about the negative impact of Internet, the emergence of a “mass culture” that threatens youth’s learning and culture. 21st century – the era of computer technology. It is hard to imagine our life without Internet. No matter what industry or profession, they spend most of their day on Internet. Some wake up from sleep and start their day on Internet using a mobile phone or tablet. Fake, fraudulent messages on social networks that spread corruption, violence, obscenity have a negative impact not only on young people, but also on adults. This is a sad situation for the Uzbek people, which for centuries has a rich cultural heritage. Since ancient times, our wise people have compared their children with germination, and the more properly taken care of germination, the more it becomes a solidly built tree. Therefore, the main task of adults is to guide young people in sound and deep thinking, choose a healthy lifestyle and avoid distractions. During the discussion, students expressed that they use social networking sites such as telegrams, instagram, facebook as training aids on the Internet, find interesting information on these sites, and admitted that at the same time there are such videos on social networks that harm the human mind. They condemned the pests and expressed hatred for them.
