Welcome!

The Ferghana Regional Branch of the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan was organized on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 16, 2017, taking into account the special place, prestige and creative potential of the Ferghana Valley, which is the ancient center of national art and culture, in order to educate talented young people in the spirit of Uzbek and world art, to fully support their creative abilities and aspirations, improve training system of high-quality specialists in the fields of art and culture, actors of theatre and folk arts for the regions of the Ferghana Valley. Today, our branch trains specialists in the areas of “Theater art: actor of musical theater”, “Director of musical theater”, “Folk art: folklore and ethnography”, “Songs and dances”, “Library and information”. In our branch creative classrooms for specialties, dance and stage movement studios, classrooms for individual training, an information resource center, a lingaphone office, a computer class, audio recording studio, dummy making room, a make-up room, a conference hall are available to students.

In our branch Honored Art Worker, honored professor Karim Yuldashev, People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored professor Shafoathon Rakhmatullaeva, People’s Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Honored Artist of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, honored professor Yorkin Hatamova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored professor Zhurahon Pulatov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honored Professor Khursana Umarov, holder of the “For distinguished services” medal of the Republic of Uzbekistan and “Shukhrat” medal, member of the Association of Composers, honored professor Rafikjon Akhmedov.

I am sure that outstanding figures of the sphere of art and culture will come from our Ferghana regional branch of the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan.
