The Fergana regional branch of state institute of art and culture of Uzbekistan was organized on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 16, 2017, taking into account the special place, prestige and creative potential of the Ferghana Valley, which is an ancient center of national art and culture with the aim of educating talented youth in the spirit of representatives of Uzbek and world art, comprehensive support and implementation of their creative capabilities and aspirations, improving the training system of high qualified specialists in the fields of art history and cultural studies, theater actor and arts and crafts for the regions of the Fergana Valley. Currently, our branch is training specialists in the areas of “Theater art: Actor of musical theater”, “Director of musical theater”, “Actor of puppet theater”, “Folk art: Folklore and ethnography”, “Songs and dances”, “Library and information activity”.
In the branch, all conditions are created for students to get full-fledged knowledge acquisition. In particular, creative classrooms for specialties, dance and stage studio, individual classrooms, information resource center, language laboratory, computer class, recording studio, puppet making room, dressing room, conference room are provided to students.
Honored artist, honored professor Karim Yuldashev, national artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored professor Shafoathon Rakhmatullaeva, national artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan and honored artist of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, honored professor Yorkinoy Hatamova, honored artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored professor Zhurakhon Pulatov, honored artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, honored professor Khursanoy Umarova, laureate of the orden “For outstanding merit” of the Republic of Uzbekistan and “Shukhrat” medal, member of the association of composer’s of Uzbekistan conduct their activities in our branch.
