Fergana regional branch of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was established on August 16, 2017. Fergana regional branch of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture is located in the Fergana Valley, one of the ancient centers of our national art and culture, where many famous art and culture figures grew up. The institute was established at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to improve the system of training highly qualified specialists in the field of theater, folk arts, cultural studies and art studies. Currently, our institution is training specialists in “Musical Theater Acting”, “Musical Theater Directing”, “Folklore and Ethnography”, “Song and Dance”, “Library and Information Activities”. All conditions have been created for students to get full education. These include master classes, dance and acting studios, individual training rooms, an information resource center, a language room, a computer rooms, a recording studio, a puppet making rooms, a make-up room, conferences hall.
Today, many famous professors and teachers are working in our institution, they are a Honored artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professor Karim Yuldashev, National Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Shafoatkhan Rahmatullayeva, National Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Yorkinoy Hotamova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Accociate Professor Khursanoy Umarova, holder of “For Devoted Services” badge and “Shuhrat” medal, member of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan, Accociate Professor Rafiqjon Akhmedov.
I believe that the Fergana regional branch of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture will prepare skilled specialists in the field of art and culture.
